Abstrakt: This article examines the role of crafting and creative activities for autistic and non-autistic adults. The research includes an online survey and workshops to gather perspectives from individuals engaged in activities such as knitting, sewing, painting, and baking. The study reveals that crafting is often seen as a female activity and that many autistic women may exhibit restricted and repetitive behaviors. Crafting is found to have therapeutic benefits, but there is a potential for missed diagnoses in autistic individuals who engage in these activities. The research aims to understand the impact and motivations of crafting for autistic adults within their communities. [Extracted from the article]
