Abstrakt: Relative yields of fluorescence quanta are measured for a number of porphyrins and phthalocyanines with different activities of electronic transitions in the absorption spectrum. Absolute quantum yields are also measured. It is established that changes in the yields of quanta at different absorbances in the absorption bands of the samples help reveal the nature of the inner filter effect. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
