The Western Washington Fellowship of Reconciliation (WWFOR) has announced the 2022-2023 Mike Yarrow Peace Fellows program. This program, which has been running since 2000, provides funding, training, and support to youth activists interested in nonviolent activism. The current leadership team, consisting of Bruce and Janis Pruitt-Hamm, Mary Lou Finley, and Sarah Pham, is working with ten young activists, aged 14 to 19, who will be participating in the program. The Peace Fellows will be working on a range of issues, including criminal justice, racial justice, soil erosion, economic inequality, LGBTQIA rights, systemic racism, feminist curriculum, period poverty, gender equality, and refugee rights.
