Defects in maxillectomy communication can lead to facial deformity, trouble with mastication and deglutition, and reduced speech. In the rehabilitation of such deformities with obturators, the role of prosthodontist is crucial. This manuscript presents a clinical report on the fabrication of a surgical, provisional, and permanent obturator. By increasing the patient's masticatory efficiency, speech clarity, and overall quality of life, this prosthesis helped the patient undergo rehabilitation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
