The purpose of this paper is to examine some trigonometric transformations of the Kies probability distribution. We consider the saturation in the Hausdorff sense which measures the speed of occurrence of a random event. Semi-closed form formulas for this saturation are derived. Also, some duality relations are obtained. Several numerical experiments are provided to validate the theoretical conclusions. The derived results can be applicable in many scientific and practical fields such as Biostatistics, Survival theory, Population dynamics, Lifetime analysis, Growth theory, Debugging and Test theory, Computer viruses propagation, Insurance mathematics, etc. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
