Abstrakt: A recent study conducted by researchers at V.I. Vernadsky Crimean Federal University examined the correlations of cytokines in undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia (UCTD) in adolescent girls with menstrual cycle disorders (MCD). The study found that there was a significant increase in serum levels of IL-6 and RANKL in girls with UCTD and MCD, as well as a tendency to increase OPG production. The researchers concluded that these findings reflect the dysregulation of cytokine metabolism and remodeling of connective tissue, suggesting the presence of a weak systemic inflammatory process in girls with UCTD and MCD. The results of this study could be used to develop personalized therapeutic and preventive measures. [Extracted from the article]
