Abstrakt: A researcher at the Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa in Lisbon, Portugal has developed a non-invasive method for monitoring blood glucose levels. The study used near-IR sensors to estimate glucose concentration in the blood and a microcontroller to predict glucose levels. The results showed an error rate of 2.86% compared to a commercial product, with a low hardware cost and power consumption. This research provides a promising alternative to invasive methods of monitoring blood glucose levels for individuals with diabetes. [Extracted from the article]
