Abstrakt:	A study conducted at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota, examined the impact of a pharmacist-driven penicillin allergy de-labeling pilot program on the use of preoperative cefazolin in surgery patients with documented penicillin allergies. The study found that the program was associated with increased use of cefazolin preoperatively. There were no significant differences in secondary outcomes such as surgical site infections or hospital length of stay.
