A recent study conducted at the International Hellenic University in Thessaloniki, Greece, aimed to investigate the knowledge and attitudes of female healthcare professionals regarding the prevention of gynaecological diseases. The study involved 208 participants who completed a questionnaire on sexually transmitted diseases, sexual health, and preventive controls. The results showed that age and level of education were significant factors in determining the participants' knowledge and attitudes towards gynaecological diseases. The researchers suggest that information and education on this topic should be included in nursing school curricula to improve healthcare professionals' knowledge in the future.
