Researchers from the Beijing Institute of Technology in China have developed an integrated and high-throughput device for pathogen detection. The device utilizes a centrifugal microfluidic chip and an automated system to achieve efficient and rapid detection of pathogens. The device is portable and low-power, making it suitable for point-of-care testing. The researchers achieved a limit of detection of 102 CFU/mL for E. coli in just 60 minutes. This platform has the potential to be used for point-of-care diagnosis and has significant applications in the field of infectious disease control. [Extracted from the article] |
