The article advocates for collaboration over competition within the primary health care system in Aotearoa New Zealand. Topics discussed include the detrimental effects of recent policy changes on health equity, the need to optimize the contributions of general practitioners and nurse practitioners, and the importance of valuing and expanding the role of practice nurses in the face of systemic challenges and growing demands on health services. |
