The article discusses the importance of ethics in the administration of the public good, specifically in the context of local government and national territories. The author argues that the socio-economic system should be guided by ethics in order to provide genuine service to the public. The article explores different ethical systems, including self-interest, philanthropy, and total self-giving, and discusses their relevance to the administration of the public good. Additionally, the article examines different models of administration, including the Greco-Roman, Anglo-Britannic, and Confucian models, and suggests practical proposals for ethical leadership and management.
