We propose a holographic near‐eye display system incorporating holographic optical elements. In our design, a holographic optical element is used to replace the traditional eyepiece as a combiner for holographic near‐eye display, a tilted‐plane diffraction propagation algorithm is used to optimize the holograms, and finally an Augmented Reality near‐eye display based on the holographic optical element is realized, and the wearing scheme is demonstrated.
