A study conducted by researchers at Complutense University in Madrid, Spain, examined the humanization measures in mental health plans across Spanish autonomous communities. The study found that 14 out of 17 autonomous communities had mental health plans that included humanization measures such as improving the quality of care, promoting user participation, and combating stigma and discrimination. The implementation of these measures varied, ranging from 6.3% to 100%, with an average of 64.1%. The researchers identified priority issues and proposed strategies such as information campaigns, multidisciplinary meeting forums, and strategies for mental health education. The study concluded that implementing these humanization proposals is crucial for providing high-quality mental health care. [Extracted from the article] |
