Abstrakt: A recent study conducted at Jazan University in Saudi Arabia examined the preferences of the population regarding the gender of surgeons. The study found that male participants preferred male surgeons for routine non-emergency visits and certain sensitive procedures, while female participants had no preference for emergency surgeries and major procedures. Female participants were more likely to prefer female surgeons for regular non-emergency visits, sensitive cases, and minor surgical procedures.
