Abstrakt: A recent study conducted by researchers at the University of Granada in Spain has examined the stability of enzymes in disinfectant formulations that incorporate essential oils and surfactants. The study found that the presence of essential oils reduced the activity of alpha-amylase, while it increased the activity of protease. Surfactants did not significantly affect the activity of either enzyme. The research suggests that this work could contribute to the development of environmentally friendly detergents with strong disinfectant properties. The study has been peer-reviewed and published in the Journal of Molecular Liquids. [Extracted from the article]
