Researchers from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in Wuhan, China have developed a fully integrated and automated centrifugal microfluidic chip for point-of-care multiplexed molecular diagnostics. This chip incorporates various components and achieves exceptional sensitivity and specificity in detecting Escherichia coli and Salmonella within 40 minutes. The development of this chip has the potential to advance centrifugal microfluidics for point-of-care testing and can be applied in precision medicine, biochemical analysis, immune diagnostics, and drug susceptibility testing. The research has been peer-reviewed and published in Biosensors and Bioelectronics. [Extracted from the article] |
