Abstrakt: A study conducted at the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China aimed to construct a model using machine learning methods to predict the occurrence of neurological symptoms in patients with Wilson's disease (WD). The study analyzed data from 185 WD patients and found that the prediction model achieved good performance, with high accuracy in predicting WD cirrhosis. The top five important predictors in the model were brainstem damage, blood creatinine, age, indirect bilirubin, and ceruloplasmin. This research provides assistance for clinical decision-making in the treatment of WD. [Extracted from the article]
