David Reade renovated his parents' historic home, a Grade II-listed 16th-century house in Worcestershire, which had been in his family for over 80 years. The renovation included adding more bathrooms and creating open-plan living spaces. During the renovation, a hidden inglenook fireplace from the Elizabethan era was discovered behind a coal-fired Rayburn.
