Abstrakt: This article discusses the prognostic implications of the ΔNp73/TAp73 expression ratio in core-binding factor acute myeloid leukemia (CBF-AML). The TP73 gene can be transcribed into two isoforms, TAp73 and ΔNp73, which have different effects on cancer development. The study found that a high ΔNp73/TAp73 expression ratio was associated with inferior outcomes in patients with CBF-AML. However, further research is needed to understand the biological significance of this ratio and its impact on treatment response. The study also highlights the importance of conducting studies in diverse clinical contexts to account for variations in patient demographics and healthcare infrastructure.
