The article discusses the importance of reproducibility, repeatability, and replicability in medical research, particularly in the field of Magnetic Resonance (MR) research. It highlights the low percentage of published materials in the Magnetic Resonance in Medicine journal and International Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) Annual Conference Proceedings that address reproducibility. The article also introduces the Repeat It With Me: Reproducibility Team Challenge, an initiative launched by ISMRM to promote reproducible research practices. It provides a summary of the five finalist teams in the challenge and emphasizes the value of preregistration and clear instructions in achieving reproducibility. The article concludes by calling for increased focus on reproducibility in MR research to drive reliable progress and innovation in the field. [Extracted from the article] |
