Abstrakt: A recent study conducted at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago has found that a combination of abemaciclib and letrozole can effectively reduce cellular proliferation in endometrioid endometrial cancer. The study involved 25 patients with endometrial cancer who received 14 days of abemaciclib and letrozole treatment prior to surgery. The primary endpoint of the study was a decrease in Ki-67 expression, a marker of cellular proliferation, which was achieved with a mean reduction of 19%. The study suggests that this combination therapy may be clinically effective in treating endometrial cancer. [Extracted from the article]
