Abstrakt: A new report from Lorestan University discusses research on a novel polymer-complex supported iron (III) and its anti-cancer properties. The researchers synthesized a polymer called poly(AHAEBD) and complexed it with iron (III). The synthesized compounds were evaluated for their anti-cancer effects on human breast cancer cells. The results showed that the polymer complex exhibited superior performance in inhibiting cancer cell growth compared to cisplatin, a commonly used anti-cancer drug. The researchers suggest that this polymer complex has the potential to be further investigated as an anticancer drug. [Extracted from the article]
