A study conducted by Babol University of Medical Sciences explores the expression and synthesis of recombinant human coagulation factor VIII using a cell-free expression system. The research aims to find a new strategy for the synthesis of recombinant drugs. The study concludes that the cell-free expression method can be used for the synthesis of recombinant factor VIII, and the CHO-K1 eukaryotic cell extract used in the process allows for important post-translational modifications of the protein. This research provides valuable insights into the development of safer and more effective treatments for hemophilia A. [Extracted from the article] |
