A recent report from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in Iran discusses the occurrence of a rare form of tumor called inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor (IMT) in the rectosigmoid junction of a 10-year-old male patient. IMT is a type of soft tissue tumor that can be found in various parts of the body. The patient experienced symptoms of constipation and distended abdomen, and the tumor was detected through surgical removal.
