Abstrakt: We have examined the structural properties of Pt-isotopes within the axially deformed Relativistic-Mean Field theory (RMF) with NL-3 and NL-3*as force parameters. We determined the binding energy (B.E.), the two neutron separation energy (S2n), the differential-neutron separation energies (dS2n), and some other observables of various isotopes of the Pt-element. The Finite-Range Droplet Model (FRDM) is extremely well compatible with both the force parameters, NL-3 and NL-3*. In addition to probable shell and/or sub shell closure at N=104 (A=182, Z=78), we also found stability at N=108 (A=186, Z=78). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
