| Abstrakt: | The author reviews the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling in Mallory v Norfolk Southern Railway Co. which invoked the dormant Commerce Clause. The Court held that a Virgina corporation can enter Pennsylvania's general jurisdiction in exchange for a business operation there, but that whether Pennsylvania may require such consent remains unclear. The author states that policy decisions on corporate matters like this still need a legal basis. |
