This article, published in the journal Synlett, discusses a study on the development of a rhodium-catalyzed direct vinylene annulation reaction. The researchers focused on using vinyl selenones as vinylene-transfer reagents and successfully demonstrated a three-component reaction to construct isoquinolone scaffolds.
