Abstrakt: The article discusses the design and construction of the Robert W. Plaster Center for Advanced Manufacturing at Ozarks Technical Community College (OTC) in Springfield, Missouri. The center was built to address the shortage of skilled workers in the region and offers training and education in robotics, fabrication, mechatronics, and more. Funding for the project came from a capital campaign, private donations, state funding, and business partnerships. The design features of the center include an entry lobby, high-bay training area, industry space, transparency, collaboration spaces, and ample natural light. The center has been successful in attracting students and businesses, and there is a demand for more space in the future. [Extracted from the article]
