This article discusses the importance of a strong campus visit for prospective students and outlines how collaboration between enrollment management and facilities management can enhance the campus visit experience. Despite the availability of technology, in-person campus visits continue to play a significant role in students' enrollment decisions. The article emphasizes the impact of campus appearance on student enrollment decisions and suggests using an environmental/systems framework to understand the complex external conditions that influence an institution. The article recommends establishing a committee consisting of key stakeholders from various departments to plan and execute a successful visit experience, and highlights the importance of collaboration between enrollment management and facilities management.
