Abstrakt: The article focuses on the business plans of GFT USA Corp.'s Guido Petruzzi in the U.S. In 1986, his company expected $90 million in marketing men's and women's fashions by clothing designers including Giorgio Armani, Ungaro and Valentino. As Petruzzi gets supplies from its Italy-based parent company, GFT will surely be affected by the import regulations of the U.S. To address this problem, he is planning to open a factory in the U.S. using Italian technology and Italian and American fabrics.
