| Abstrakt: | The article focuses on the business plans of Hearst Corp.'s president Frank Bennack in the U.S. Since 1980, he has spent more than $1 billion for merger activities with three daily newspaper firms and a Boston television station. However, when Bennack sees a losing performance in some of his companies, he will get rid of it. This was reflected in the sale of their Boston "Herald American" in 1982 and the shutdown of their Baltimore "News American." |
