Analysis of gambier dye as sensitizer to make a significant efficiency improvement.

Abstrakt: Photoanode optimization of dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) is a crucial way to improve efficiency. In this investigation, using TiO2 anatase by spray pyrolysis method and fabricated as photoanode. This method has the advantages of simple operation and the distance of the spray can be modified. The X-Ray characterization revealed the presence of TiO2 crystals with an anatase phase and range energy absorption is at a wavelength (500-800) nm as shown by the UV-Visible spectroscopy. This result has supported by FESEM result, where the surface of TiO2 shows pores that are possible to absorb a lot of light energy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
