A recent report from Zhejiang, China discusses the factors influencing the hospitalization cost of patients with pulmonary tuberculosis. The researchers used a decision tree model to group cases based on these factors, aiming to improve the management of diagnosis-related groups (DRGs) for this disease. The study found that the length of hospital stay, respiratory failure, sex, and age were the determining factors of the hospitalization cost. The researchers concluded that grouping pulmonary tuberculosis cases based on these factors can provide a reference for DRG management and cost control. [Extracted from the article] |
