A patent application titled "Workflow For High-Throughput Analysis Of Analytes In Liquid Samples" has been published online. The inventors have developed a method for rapidly analyzing small volumes of desalted and diluted liquid samples. The method involves desalting the sample, acoustically ejecting it into an open-port interface, diluting it, and transferring it to an ionization source. The ions of interest are then selected using a differential mobility spectrometer.
