Abstrakt: | A recent study conducted by researchers at Satakunta University of Applied Sciences in Finland examined the relationship between nutritional status and health-related quality of life (HRQoL) among home-dwelling older adults aged 75 years. The study found that impaired nutritional status was associated with impaired HRQoL, particularly among men. The researchers used the Mini Nutritional Assessment (MNA) to assess nutritional status and the 15D instrument to measure HRQoL. The findings suggest that addressing malnutrition in older adults may have a positive impact on their overall quality of life. [Extracted from the article] |
