A recent study conducted in Uttar Pradesh, India explored the association between Vedic personality traits and empathy among medical students. The study found that individuals with higher Sattva scores, one of the three qualities described in the Triguna theory of Hindu philosophy, were more likely to exhibit better social competence and emotional stability. Additionally, gender differences were observed, with female participants scoring higher in empathy measures compared to males.
