A study conducted by researchers at the Federal University Minas Gerais (UFMG) in Brazil aimed to understand fatigue by using four different methods to estimate it. The study included 47 truck operators, primarily men, and evaluated factors such as actigraphy, core temperature, psychomotor vigilance, sleepiness scale, and postural assessment. The results showed that different methods have both positive and negative aspects, and it is important for evaluators and managers to choose the most suitable method based on the purpose of the evaluation and local culture and conditions. The researchers recommend using a combination of different methods to assess and manage fatigue. [Extracted from the article] |
