Abstrakt:	The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has not met its average time-to-hire targets for priority positions in fiscal year 2022, according to a report by the Government Accountability Office (GAO). The report found that DHS did not meet its hiring targets for nine out of 13 priority positions, with variations in time-to-hire due to different vetting requirements and processes. The report also highlighted the need for improved data reporting and better sharing of practices to expedite hiring decisions.
