Raising and fattening cattle for meat production is an important source of profit, playing an important role in the agriculture' intensification and efficiency. This is due to the superior utilisation of cheap fodder resources that are transformed into meat, a product with high biological and nutritive value. Increasing the meat production of the Aberdeen Angus breed, in order to improve the production qualities, adapted in the north-eastern region of Moldova, requires knowledge of the maintenance and feeding systems applied in the farms from the studied area.
