Abstrakt: A 32-year-old man developed anterior uveal effusion while being treated with acetazolamide for episodic ataxia. He experienced blurred vision and near-sightedness after the first dose, and examination revealed a bilateral myopic shift. The man was admitted to the hospital due to the risk of angle closure, and further tests showed a bilateral anterior uveal detachment. The effusion and myopic shift were resolved after the man discontinued acetazolamide and received treatment with atropine and dexamethasone. His vision returned to normal and remained stable throughout follow-up. [Extracted from the article]
