Abstrakt: This article discusses a pilot study that aimed to determine the effectiveness of hepatitis A virus (HAV) vaccines in adolescents with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) and Crohn's disease (CD) who are on immunosuppressive therapy. The study compared the vaccine responsiveness of pediatric and adult doses of HAV vaccines in 12-15-year-old participants. The results showed that all participants remained seropositive after a single dose of either formulation, with no significant difference in serological response between doses. However, further research is needed to determine the long-term protection and optimal vaccine management strategies for this population. [Extracted from the article]
