Abstrakt: A recent research article in the journal Angewandte Chemie International Edition discusses the discovery of the largest organic-ligand-protected Pt nanoclusters with atomic precision. These nanoclusters, obtained through a mixture ligand protecting strategy, demonstrate superior catalytic activity for the oxygen reduction reaction under acidic conditions compared to commercial Pt/C catalysts. Additionally, the nanoclusters exhibit excellent photothermal conversion efficiency, suggesting potential applications in various fields. Another research article in the same journal explores the synthesis of sulfur-containing polymers with high melting points through the copolymerization of phenylisothiocyanate and oxetane. Lastly, a hydrothermal method for synthesizing naphthalene diimide anolytes for neutral flow batteries is reported, which enhances their solubility and stability. [Extracted from the article]
