Researchers at Zhongyuan University of Technology have conducted a study on tooth wear, specifically focusing on the impact of cycloidal gear pin tooth wear on transmission error in precision planetary cycloidal reducers. The study utilized theoretical deduction, simulation analysis, and experimental validation to explore the relationship between wear duration and transmission error. The findings revealed that the transmission error curve gradually increased during the initial wear of the cycloid gear and the needle tooth, with the rate of increase proportionally related to wear duration.
