A new study conducted by researchers at Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin, Poland explores the relationship between the concentration of bioelements (Zn, Cu, Fe, Cr, Mg, and Mn) in the serum and bone tissue and the concentration of selected hormones in men with and without erectile dysfunction (ED). The study included 152 men who underwent hip arthroplasty for hip osteoarthritis. The findings suggest that there may be a correlation between the concentration of certain bioelements and hormones and the occurrence of ED in men. Further research is needed to better understand the etiology of ED. [Extracted from the article] |
