A systematic literature review conducted by researchers from the Federal University of Maranhao in Brazil explores the role of circular RNAs (circRNAs) in the pathogenesis of cervical cancer. The review found that circRNAs are overexpressed in cervical cancer and are involved in critical processes such as invasion, cell proliferation, apoptosis, and migration. They also have clinical significance, including metastasis, TNM staging, and interactions with microRNAs. Understanding the molecular mechanisms of circRNA regulation in cervical cancer can contribute to more accurate diagnosis, prognosis, and therapy. [Extracted from the article] |
