Abstrakt: |
A recent study conducted by the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina has found that low levels of the biomarker MUC5AC are significantly associated with severe cases of influenza in children. The study aimed to identify high-risk children for targeted preventive interventions and prompt treatment. The researchers concluded that MUC5AC has the potential to be a suitable biomarker for predicting the severity of influenza in pediatric patients.
