Abstrakt: A recent study conducted by the University of Wisconsin compared the effectiveness of ticagrelor and clopidogrel in patients with cerebral aneurysms undergoing endovascular therapy. The study analyzed 18 studies involving 2,427 patients and found no significant differences in key outcomes such as thromboembolic events, hemorrhagic events, mortality rates, and favorable mRS (0-2) scores between the two drugs. The researchers also conducted a single-arm meta-analysis for ticagrelor, which showed low rates of thromboembolic events, hemorrhage, mortality, and high rates of favorable mRS scores. This research provides valuable insights into the use of antiplatelet therapy in the treatment of intracranial aneurysms. [Extracted from the article]
