Abstrakt:	A study conducted at the University of Minnesota examined the success of intrauterine device (IUD) placement in adolescents and young adults (AYAs) at community-based reproductive health clinics. The study found that the first-attempt IUD placement success rate was high among AYAs, regardless of their vaginal delivery (VD) history. Complications were rare, with most being expulsions. The research suggests that clinicians should feel confident in recommending IUD use to AYAs.
