Abstrakt: Our aesthetic judgments are embedded in and shaped by unjust social orders. But can our aesthetic judgments themselves—"this is beautiful; that is not"—be unjust? This article argues that they can. Admitting that this is so does not require us to be unduly revisionary with respect to our concept of justice. Rather, the thought that aesthetic judgments are unjust flows naturally from familiar egalitarian constraints. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
